About AVRIL D'ÉTÉ

Avril D’ete was born in 2008, inspired by the often under-appreciated craftsmanship of South East Asian artisans. The label aspires to capture the life spirit of the people in the part of the world where summer seems to be eternal rather than seasonal.

The label starts with bags and clutches collection as its first product line. Each piece of Avril D’ete collection is unique, hand-crafted by artists in South East Asia. The label works with home industries of small and aspiring artists across the region for the production of its products and helps to improve the livelihood of the artists by exposing their works to other parts of the world.

Eventually the label hopes to expand its product lines to include paintings, jewelries, clothing and accessories and furniture. Despite the direction of growth, the label will remain true to its philosophy of providing only individually unique, hand-crafted products in limited quantities and contributing to the lives of the people in South East Asia.
